WeCare Hartford & MACC members invite you to our second of five evenings in supporting the Heart & Soul of our youth and families in the Town of Hartford and surrounding communities.

 

Date:Monday September 16, 2013 @ 6:30 p.m.

Location: Hartford High School Auditorium 

A Presentation & Discussion for our families and community members:

Adolescent & Family Mental Health

-       a (very) brief tour of emotional & social growth through the life span

-       a wellness approach to mental health

-       questions & concerns

-       accessing mental health services & community supports

-       we invite students in the middle / high school to join this interactive discussion with parents and community members  (childcare will be provided for younger children)

September Presenters include:

Cynthia Dale, Ph.D.

Dr. Dale is a licensed clinical psychologist and manager of the School Program for the Hartford office of Health Care & Rehabilitative Services (HCRS). This program collaborates with local schools to provide emotional, psychological, and behavioral support for students in school.

Robyn Carpenter, LCMC

Ms. Carpenter is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and HCRS school based clinician at Hartford High School. She provides assessment, counseling, and referral services to high school students and their families.

Jennifer Chambers, QMHP

Ms. Chambers is the Windsor County Crisis Team Leader with the Crisis Department at HCRS. She provides assessment and support for individuals and families experiencing a mental health crisis and works with community partners to support mental health.
